Initial draft for my magazine advert

I have chosen this image to be the main significant feature in my magazine advert because I feel it represents a sense of carelessness and freedom; something equally represented in my music video. However, I am questioning the lay-out of the advert as I feel it is maybe a little simple. On the other hand, I often think simplicity is the most effective in advertisement material as the purpose is clear; particularly with the clarity of the artist name and date of the release.

Initial ideas for my Digipak

 

Each of the above are the initial drafts of my Digipak; each experimenting with different images, excluding text. 

I'm not entirely decided on the images I want to use, as I think it would be the most effective if all of the images link with each other along with the video and the magazine advert - something I am finding particularly difficult. However, I do enjoy the top section as illustrated above, including the Inside Left and both CD sections, as it is one image split into 3 sections which I feel link together effectively. I am still undecided on the remaining 2 images.
