Magazine adverts

All 3 above magazine adverts are from the July 2012 issue of Mojo magazine. I feel Mojo magazine focuses on artists in the indie rock genre like my song and artist, so feel these are good examples to look at when thinking about the creation of my advert. The quality of the image is a main feature of all three of the adverts; dominating almost the entirety of the page in all 3. Both of the artist's names and album titles are displayed on each of the adverts to make it clear to the audience of the adverts purpose. Personally, I feel that the care-free attitude that is often in association with the indie-rock genre is effectively displayed here with the striking contrast of colors and abstract imaging.
